Get your tickets for our signature fundraising event, Kaleidoscope!

A Kaleidoscope is, by definition, a reflection of a constantly changing pattern of shapes and color. The youth served by the Ruth Ellis Center are quite literally a kaleidoscope for resilience and our organizational commitment to supporting their movement towards independence.

We hope that you will join us to help make a difference in the lives of youth who seek safe space and an opportunity - something we are fortunate to be able to provide.

Sponsorship opportunities available! Call Matt O'Brien at 313.252.1950

This event is taking place at the Scarab Club in Midtown Detroit, Thursday September 23, 2010.

Additional Info

Due to the generosity of our donors, the Center is not presently in need of any donations of clothes or food. Therefore, we will not be accepting donations of these items at this time.

Thank you.

The Ruth Ellis Center received a $10,000 grant from the Metro Health Foundation to support a Health Care Navigator Program for residents of the Center's Transitional Living Program.

"Support from the Metro Health Foundation will allow us to connect with the health care system in a meaningful way and address or take preventative measures against health issues among Detroit's and Highland Park's LGBTQ homeless youth," says Ruth Ellis Center Executive Director Laura Hughes.
